About Haas
Haas Door has been building garage doors in Wauseon, Ohio since 1954, and the company is still family-owned. Every door it sells is made in the United States, in steel or aluminum, and the insulated models use polyurethane foam with a full thermal break between the inside and outside skins. That combination is why a Haas door feels solid when you knock on it and why the garage behind it stays closer to the house temperature in January and July.
Haas sells through dealers like us, which means the door is specced, ordered, delivered and installed by the same crew, and if a panel ever needs replacing years from now, we're the ones who order it. We carry Haas in the same styles you'll find on our residential page: carriage stamp, raised and recessed panels, flush doors, and the woodtone and overlay upgrades. Bring us a photo of your house and we'll tell you which of them will look right on it.
Haas Doors We Install

What Haas Builds
Insulated steel: 600, 700 and 2000 Series
This is the heart of the Haas lineup and the door most of our Haas customers end up with. All three series use the same 26-gauge galvanized steel, the same polyurethane insulation and the same full thermal break. What changes is thickness: 1 3/8 inches for the 600, 1 3/4 for the 700, a full 2 inches for the 2000. Thicker means quieter, stiffer and warmer. A detached garage that holds the mower can take the 600; a garage under a bedroom or a heated shop is worth the 2000. All three come in nine panel designs, 26 colors and 37 window options, so the look doesn't change with the price.
Carriage house: American Tradition 9000 Series
Haas's take on the old wooden carriage doors, built on a flush or v-groove steel base with polyurethane overlay boards on the face. You pick a base color and an overlay color from 17 options and mix them or match them, choose plain or arched tops, and add any of ten window layouts in the top section. At 2 5/8 inches it's the thickest door Haas makes. Base finishes include wood grains like Ash, Mahogany and English Oak, so you can get the look of a stained wood door that never needs sanding.
Built for the weather here
Haas publishes a tested U-factor for every series rather than a rounded-up R-value, and offers certified wind-load options on its doors. We'll tell you which rating your opening needs; most houses around here don't need the top one, and we won't sell it to you if you don't.
Every Haas door comes with a written warranty from the factory. The terms differ by series, so we go over them with you before you order, not after.
Choosing a Haas Door
Plenty of customers call us already knowing the style they want, and some know the brand too. Either one works. Our job is to confirm the door will suit your house, price it with the insulation and windows you actually want, and install it right.
And if you're still deciding, we install CHI and Amarr too. We'll help you compare without steering you toward any of the three.
Ready for a Haas door?
Bring us a style name or just a picture you like. Either one works.
