Garage Doors

Residential Garage Doors

From classic raised-panel to full-view modern, we install the door that fits your home and your budget.

Styles We Install

We handle residential garage doors end to end: helping you pick a style, measuring the opening, ordering the door, and doing the installation ourselves. These are the styles we install, the standard panel designs first and the upgrades after them.

Typical installed pricing runs $1,200 to $1,800 for a single door and $2,000 to $2,800 for a double, for a standard stamp and color with no windows and no opener. Every quote is itemized. See the cost guide for the full breakdown.

Still deciding? Start with how to choose a new garage door, then read up on whether insulation is worth it in Illinois, which is the choice that moves the price most.

You can also look through our recent projects for what a finished door looks like on a real house.

  • White stamped carriage-house garage door with arched top windows and black hinge hardware on a grey vinyl-sided house

    Standard

    Carriage Stamp

Carriage-house lines pressed straight into the steel, in short or long panel layouts, with no overlay boards to seal or repaint. A good middle ground when you want the carriage look without the upkeep.

  • White short raised-panel garage door on a white vinyl-sided garage with a black coach lantern

    Standard

    Raised

The classic raised-panel steel door, in short or long panels, that most homes already have. It suits nearly any house and is the safe choice when you want the door to blend in rather than stand out.

  • Dark bronze recessed long-panel garage doors on a tan vinyl-sided home with coach lanterns

    Standard

    Recessed Stamp

Inset panels stamped into the steel instead of raised ones, in short or long layouts, which gives a flatter and tidier face. Understated, and an easy fit on traditional and transitional homes.

  • Black flush garage door with a vertical stack of windows on a tan brick garage

    Standard

    Flush

A completely smooth face with no panel pattern at all. About as minimal as a garage door gets, and the natural pick for contemporary and modern homes.

  • Dark woodtone stamped carriage-house garage door with a row of top windows on a brick home with a stone base

    Standard

    Woodtone Overlay

Carriage-house styling in a woodtone finish over steel: the grain and color of a stained wood door with none of the sanding or re-staining. A warm, traditional look that suits farmhouse, craftsman and brick homes.

  • Cedar-tone horizontal plank garage doors with offset rectangular windows on a tan-sided home

    Upgrade

    Woodtone Plank

Horizontal plank styling in a woodtone finish over steel, often paired with a vertical strip of glass. Modern but warmer than a flat panel, and a good fit on contemporary and mid-century homes.

  • Two light grey carriage overlay garage doors with X-brace boards under a black metal awning on a white painted brick garage

    Upgrade

    Overlay

Dimensional overlay boards on an insulated steel door, in a standard color or a woodtone finish, with decorative hardware to match. The most detailed carriage option, and the one to pick when the garage doors are the front of the house.

  • Black-framed full view glass garage door beside a covered patio on a white farmhouse

    Upgrade

    Full View Glass

Glass fills most of the door face here, so the garage gets real daylight instead of one small window. The contemporary aluminum framing suits newer builds, and insulated versions keep an attached or heated garage from paying for all that glass.
