Who These Terms Cover

These terms apply to this website and to the garage door, opener and screen work CC Garage Door (“we,” “us,” “our”) performs. Your written estimate and invoice spell out the specifics of your job; if they conflict with these terms, the estimate and invoice control for that job. Using this site or hiring us means you accept these terms.

What We Do and Where

We sell, install, service and repair residential and commercial garage doors and openers, and we sell, install and service MaestroShield and Lifestyle Screens retractable screens, from our shop at 13032 Commercial St, Aviston, IL 62216. We serve Clinton County and the Metro East, roughly 70 miles around Aviston. Our hours are Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and work is scheduled within those hours. We're an independent dealer; the manufacturers whose products we carry don't operate this site or set our prices.

Estimates and Pricing

• We provide written estimates. An estimate is an offer to do the described work at the stated price for the period shown on it. Repair visits carry the service call listed on our cost guide, which covers diagnosis, and we tell you the repair price before any work starts.
• Prices on this site, including the cost guide, are typical ranges for common jobs. They aren't a quote. Your price is the one on your written estimate.
• If we find something during the work that changes the scope or the cost, we'll stop and get your approval before continuing, unless continuing is necessary to leave the door in a safe condition.
• Taxes and any permit or disposal fees appear on your estimate or invoice.

Scheduling and Access

We schedule service in appointment windows during business hours. Please give us a working phone number, make sure we can reach the garage (vehicles moved, the area in front of and under the door clear, pets secured), and have an adult 18 or older present. If you need to cancel or move an appointment, let us know as early as you can. If we arrive for a scheduled appointment and can't get access, we may charge for the trip as stated on your estimate.

Payment

Payment is due as stated on your estimate or invoice. Special-order doors and parts may require a deposit before we order them. Accepted payment methods are listed on your invoice. Unpaid balances may be referred for collection, and you're responsible for the collection costs the law allows.

Products, Special Orders and Warranties

• Doors, openers and screens are covered by their manufacturers' warranties (CHI, Amarr, Haas, LiftMaster, MaestroShield and Lifestyle Screens, as applicable). Those warranties have their own terms, and we'll help you with a claim.
• Any warranty on our workmanship is stated on your invoice. It covers our labor on the work described there. It doesn't cover damage from accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, work by others, or normal wear.
• Special-order products are made to your specifications. Once the manufacturer has started production, the order can't be canceled or returned, and the deposit isn't refundable.
• Color, finish and woodgrain samples, photos and screen images are close but not exact. Slight variation from a sample or a photo isn't a defect.
• We install parts we supply. We don't install customer-supplied doors, openers or parts unless we've agreed to in writing, and no workmanship warranty applies to them.

Safety

Garage door springs, cables and openers are under high tension and can cause serious injury. Don't attempt repairs yourself. Information on this site, including blog posts, is general and isn't a substitute for an inspection by a technician. We may decline or stop work we consider unsafe. We may also recommend repairs you decide not to make; if you decline them, you accept the related risk.

Your Responsibilities

You confirm that you own the property or have the owner's authority to order the work, and that you've told us about anything unusual at the site, such as wiring, structural issues or prior modifications. You're responsible for the condition of the structure the door attaches to. We aren't responsible for pre-existing problems with framing, headers, flooring or electrical service, though we'll tell you if we see one.

Reviews

Reviews shown on this site come from Google and Facebook and appear as the customer wrote them. We don't edit them, and we don't pay for them.

Calls and Email

When you contact us through this site or by phone, you agree that we may call or email you about your request, your estimate and your appointments.

Using This Website

You may use the site to learn about our services, contact us and request estimates. You may not interfere with it, scrape it, submit false or harmful content, or use it for anything unlawful. The text, photos and design are ours or licensed to us; don't copy or republish them without permission. Links to other sites, such as manufacturers, design tools and review platforms, are provided for convenience, and their content and policies are their own. We try to keep the site accurate, but product details and prices change, and we don't guarantee the site is always current or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent Illinois law allows, our liability for any claim related to this website or to work we perform is limited to the amount you paid us for that work, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including lost use of your garage, loss of stored property, or lost income. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Disputes and Governing Law

Illinois law governs these terms. Any dispute will be brought in the state courts located in Clinton County, Illinois, and you agree to that venue. Before filing anything, call us. Most problems get solved with a phone call.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Changes apply to work ordered after the date of the change.
